Right there at 4907 Cordell Avenue in downtown Bethesda, resides yet another gem that’s harder to find outside of Florida – Cubano’s Restaurant – a very cozy and colorful spot with casual Cuban food and some of my all-time favorites. Decor and atmosphere alone are worth a seat at the bar for a libation or two –

But sheer vibe aside, this place is absolutely ON-point with just about all of their food that we typically don’t see in other Latin places,

And that brings us to my all-time favorite, the ropa vieja – one of the BEST stewed beef dishes out there, typically paired with fluffy rice and soaked with the amazing stew sauce.

Overall this place is a treat without me having to say all that much – instant recommendation to check out if you happen to be in the area! Literally cannot go wrong with Cubano’s!
