This was a very nice little new place that doubles up as a normal cafe – sandwiches, coffee, etc, in a huge office building across the beltway and away from the mall’s riff raff. Owners naturally forgot about the shoot, but like proper business folk quickly whipped up the 10 dishes I needed and sent me home with my spicy pork of choice! I’d definitely recommend this spot if you happen to be passing by and don’t feel like driving further into Falls Church for some killer tacos or are simply in the mood for some good Korean grub.
Working with a new client at a cut rate always sucks, but thus venues end up at the mercy of my time and schedule because there’s absolutely no way I will waste 2 hours on the road for some pennies on the dime without a further incentive. Bills gotta get paid, so sometimes I have to take the proverbial L and do these menial shoots. The real kicker is that my new phone almost outguns my little Fuji and this was done exclusively via my phone.
