Wagshal’s is by far one of the best food markets, delis, and restaurants in the Northwest DC. Words simply cannot do their various, mouth-watering dishes the justice! I highly recommend stopping by here for sandwiches and other eats if you are in the area or visiting DC.
This place doubles up as a supermarket, beer and wine, and split-counter deli with proper table service on top – something I haven’t seen up to that point. And then just look at their monster sandwiches! And the pizza too! This strip mall has its own parking lot as well. The shoot was super-smooth and the place left a big impression on me.
Another interesting bit is that years later I would upgrade my office right at the Capital One bank at this same strip mall.
