As far as the shoot itself went, in terms of the restaurant, this went well – we even used their window props for the shoot instead of struggling with the real dishes, and here’s why: corpos double booked this shoot as well their other location and both me and another photog whose shoots I have fixed in the past decided to just double-up and let the corpos deal with their silly mistakes. I’ve shot both locations’ worth right here and while everything was coming together the owner told me quite the little story that left my jaw dropped….
Turns out that the rub-dub-hub had onboarded this place onto their platform without even a sliver of notification and Crepe Escape only learned of this huge no-no when customers who never got their orders started bombarding their google reviews for failed deliveries they weren’t even doing at the time! This could have been an absolutely crystal clear lawsuit I was surprised they didn’t jump on, but such are the restaurant owners more often than not.
