Does DC absolutely lacks proper deli’s as a whole? Naturally. Are new attempts at bringing proper sandwiches, albeit not 24/7, to the streets welcome? Always! Taylor Gourmet was a newer kid on the block in the sandwich game when I got to shoot their new location at Pike and Rose in North Bethesda (and screw that plaza complex to the ends of a trash compactor for trying way too hard to make that area appear that it’s not) that sadly has since shut down, and I’m 100% blaming the likely morbid rent and froufrou crowds for evicting this awesome chain out of there. Guess it’s McDonald’s for you people! Taylor G. has their DC locations intact and is worth a visit for sure, so here is what you can expect from them-
Awesome, huge subs named after various local streets and such with nice, fresh, sesame covered loaves of bread enough to be a meal or even two!
