Haagen-Dazs, Kentlands Gaithersburg MDAnother big brand, little shoot courtesy of corporate overlords that went smoothly in the Kentlands area that I have covered extensively in the prior years. Lets look into a Haagen-Dazs location: Typical, clean interior showcasing the ice-cream, shakes, and cakes right away with a couple little tables and chairs. Most of the cold goodies were…

Carmen’s Italian Ice, Rockville MDCarmen’s Italian Ice is an excellent coffee shop right next to I270 North, but coffee is hardly their specialty (despite being amazing!) – it’s their Italian ice, gelatos, and custard! Don’t forget about their various flavored nuts too! I absolutely and highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area! Another local classic I’d…

Sweet Charlie’s, Philadelphia PAOn the edge of Center City, Philly, lies Sweet Charlie’s – Thai-style rolled ice cream shop. Line typically stretches for half a block well before they open, so get there nice and early if you want to treat yourself to this delight! By the time we wrapped up, the line for opening doors almost wrapped…
