Slow, Slow, If Only Steady – Ambrosia Restaurant & Bar, Cedar Park, Vienna VA

This was a neat little attempt at a Greek restaurant where everyone including the owners just dragged their feet, so despite actually decent food they got booted out by a Pizza Bolis. Say what you will, but if you’re a proper, full-fledged and long-standing restaurant that ends up losing to a mediocre pizza chain – taking on delivery services on top of dragging your feet in your space should not be your priority by a mile. I’ve seen lots of places shut down over the years and sloggy pace and attitudes were always #1 reasons for such. Luckily this was hardly the only Greek place around, and the other ones are still well and kicking!
