Pho Cong Ly is a very nice Vietnamese restaurant right off of Braddock Road in Annandale, VA. Your usual and unusual selection of awesome Vietnamese dishes and even delivery available! I highly recommend this place.
This was one of my first of very, very many Vietnamese shoots that I was generally familiar with the cuisine of prior to this career branch, but never really seen the full extent and variety of Vietnamese fare. It’s quite extensive and definitely unique to Chinese and Thai cuisine based on use of hot sauces and pepper types alone. Vermicelli noodles are quite prominent here both in soup and dry with tons of toppings to make a bowl. Bahn-mi sandwiches are also pretty unique combination of flavor. Usually medium-length gigs, and almost always awarded me with some extra loot to take with.
