H Street northeast corridor, DC, houses many bars and restaurants and the duo of Mythology Restaurant and Lore Lounge upstairs is no exception. Ancient lore and mythology are predominant themes in this modern tavern with the classy decor including Zeus’ thunder in the clouds and french fries served in giant red heads. Mythical, creative, and classy. Highly recommended as well as the upstairs if you want to dance along with your dinner.
This was a first time seeing a restaurant offer different menus to their differently named floors, but it made sense having one part offer snacks and appz for the booze while the main floor covers the proper meals and tables. Having a gig that covers both, back to back, was a very nice to end that evening like nothing else. And from my memory, a fellow competitor joined me to cover a different corpo set of pics fumbling with way too much gear than this pay grade merited.
