Momo Yakitori with Hawaiian inspired fare was a neat little spot on the edge of NE of DC. The space was passed down to new crew from the original owners who retired and moved to Europe after running Nido – a Spanish and Italian fusion restaurant with plenty of tapas as well as main plates. Both spots were excellent to shoot and I was glad that the space was sub-leased instead of being shut down entirely, which happens all too often to restaurants.
