While this one was a missed original appointment for an acceptable reason on my end of food running out and not wanting to be bogged with an entire shoot amidst a slew of customers, everyone’s time was honored on our second appointment and I wasn’t left disappointed for several reasons. Late fees applying being a natural, but far from the main reason. That said,
a chopped cheese from Harlem, in the most disappointing area of the east coast besides all the political and court rulings?! The swampy town that’s almost notorious for never hearing the terms “boar’s head” as well as a “deli” serving one of New York’s staples? Right on deck! And done fully loaded like I once got creative with in Hell’s Kitchen myself. Freshly dices relish, custom aioli, and the list goes on. Burgers are nice, juicy, and plump. A turkey sandwich you’d quickly assume to have cold cut is anything but that – freshly made bird, sliced and packed generously with plenty of extras that bring out its flavor. No half-smokes like the rest of the half-assed-anything-done, especially when it comes to business, town – a full-smoke and on a proper sandwich loafy to be loaded right up. And to top all of that goodness off with, an owner that had the perfect pep, attitude, and ability to run an awesome sandwich kitchen out of a convenient store just like it’s normally done in New York. Bravo! Definitely recommend this place based on my visit as well as hearing some past customers’ feedbacks while I was there.
