Lee’s Restaurant and Bar, Hyattsville MD

Lee’s was one of the favorite earlier African spots because their jolloff rice was amazing and both chicken and fish entrees came with an very generous coating of tomato garnish. I’ve been back here with friends several times after the shoot and it was awesome to see them incorporate all of my work into their new dine-in menus. And like with most African places – you better to early because that jolloff can be gone well during lunch and is only made prior to the business day. Sadly this place shut down some time ago, but I will always remember this odd-and-end awesome old spot.
