Kokeb is another quiet Ethiopian restaurant in Columbia Heights, DC. Standard old gig when I was still fascinated with simple complexity of still new-to-me Ethiopian cuisine. Always got to love places where day’s worth of main fare is prepped in the morning to keep the dishes coming out quickly, and since majority of the usual menu is vegetable and lentil based – these make for quick shoots.
