Kiroran was a treat to shoot because among the slew of Chinese, Korean, and wannabe Japanese places ran by Chinese or Thai staff, an actually different Asian spot was a welcome break from the usual for me. Uyghur cuisine – derivative mix of Chinese and Pakistani and Khazak dishes that we definitely hardly ever see here in the States. DC area alone only has this and another 1 or at very most 2 more of these kinda restaurants and their take on even some of the familiar dishes is worth a try for sure!
