Ah yes, the good old Amici Miei that was a nightmare to work with and that rightfully shut down over the years with zero sympathy on my end. Who in their right mind schedules a photo shoot for 6PM on a Saturday? Like, c’mon, my guy, use your rigatoni a little bit… Naturally half the place is packed when I arrived, and naturally they were ONLY running customer orders through me despite that being a big no-no by the book. A group shot of plates waiting to be devoured despite coming out literally one by one? Fugget about it! Peeping at the menu, the prices were pretty up there for this area too and this place sat literally surrounded by other, much better restaurants to boot, so why people came in besides nice presentation of absolutely overpriced food is still beyond me… And then I got to return to this nemesis for another shoot that went just as well as this initial one…. Good riddance to this and any other place that operates like a broken cog.
