Amante Pizza & Pasta was a lovely shoot with nice mild twisty roads leading there and back to keep the boredom of usual interstate or betlway traffic away from me for a change. This place is of the few little food spots for a few miles off of 97 and across from High’s gas station, so their choice of location is great considering large part of east-west traffic coming right through here. The place itself is pretty big – 2 levels with a bar and patio downstairs, restaurant setting upstairs, and plenty of parking!

The owners are a couple from Bulgaria, and upon learning the fact I instantly wished that this was a Bulgarian place instead of the tried-and-overdone Italian, since that would have been quite the rarity to see especially in this little nook of Maryland, but you have to follow your own passions in this industry as well as cater to the locale whom I highly doubt would appreciate over pizzas and spaghetti. Amante does Italian very, very well, so that was a pleasure to see like any restaurant that nails what they set out to serve!

Cubano and the pizzas were fantastic! The rest of the dishes looked on-point as well, and their menu had plenty variety without being overwhelming. I definitely recommend checking them out if you happen to be passing by!
