Now this shoot was not without its delays, but it ended up very refreshing considering it’s right across from one of my first-ever Ethiopian shoots of my career – Hiwot, that’s still around but seemed to have turned completely around from the vibe it used to have. Abebech Ethiopian, aside from absolutely tiny seating space that adheres to being a cafe, had all the right vibes and decor. It’s owner, Emebet, pulled one of her friends to help wo-man the kitchen for the shoot and everything went according to plan. To boot, I got to come back and shoot her lovely little spot for a second corpo client a month later and was glad to do so.

In all, in contrast to your normal blogs – my work speaks louder than words and the better the restaurant, the less I really have to say; if it’s good, it’s good, period.
