Good old Yaar Spice that I got to shoot twice last year and it’s always been a pleasure doing so! When the bosses forget about a shoot on the 3th run, it doesn’t bother me since the corpo clients still pay me, and reschedule was arranged smoothly for a pre-lunch timeframe as opposed to being right next to their mid-day break when most of the grub have been polished off by the customers. I also prefer doing morning shoots when they don’t involve awful DMV traffic to slog through when anything with a Virginia address gets pinged into my schedule, and it allows me to take perfect, clean morning shots of the restaurants –
This run through Yaar Spice also happened after my camera setup upgrade that was well overdue and made coming back here an even greater pleasure for me. Highlights from last year included these fantastic dishes –
You just have to love when your corporate clients cling to filename dates of shots while you try and save the restaurant the food cost covering for different brands…what an age we live in these days. Thankfully blunders of the past did not repeat this time.
As for this latest shoot, both myself and a friend got to see and try this load of flavorful goodness-
As you can see – things stayed rightfully consistent in the year’s gap and the taste remained sold as it was before, and I love seeing places not change what isn’t broken since it happens more often than you think.
