9th street above Mt. Vernon Square in DC used to house this absolute mess of an attempt at success that was called 1230 Restaurant. I had 3 reschedules here until both owner and chef decided to present themselves on the same day, but cooking went abysmally slow and made me short of an hour late for my next gig that thankfully wasn’t too far away, aside from the usual parking scramble.
